Ph.D. Degree awarded
The following faculty have received Ph.D. / M. Phil. Degrees during the year 2008 - 2009.
i). Dr. (Mrs.) B. Archana, Sr. Asst. Professor in Mgt. Studies is awarded Ph.D. Degree from O.U. on 02-06-2008.
ii). Dr. P. Vijaya Bhaskara Rao, Sr. Asst. Professor in Physics is awarded Ph.D. Degree from O.U. on 22nd October 2008.
ii). Sri. D. Shankaraiah, Assistant Professor in Mathematics is awarded M.Phil. Degree from O.U. in December 2008.
The following faculty have submitted the thesis for Ph.D. and are awaiting for the viva-voce.
i). Mr. P. Ravi Babu, Associate Professor of EEE Department submitted Ph.D. thesis to JNTU titled “Applications of Innovative Demand side Management Techniques to Power Systems for Load Management”.
ii). Mrs. K. Madhavi Reddy, Assistant Professor of English submitted Ph.D. thesis to O.U., titled “Connecting Reading and Writing to Develop Academic Skills in the Students of Professional Courses – A Study”.
The following faculty of the College have been deputed by the Management for a period of Six Months for their Ph.D. with full deputation benefits.
1. Prof. R. Seetharamaiah, Professor & Head, IT Department has been deputed for 6 months to University of Hyderabad where he has registered for his Ph.D. Degree.
2. Sri. S. Suryanarayana, Associate Professor of ECE Department has been on deputation to work with JNTU, Hyderabad.
The following faculty of the College are guiding the Ph.D. students.
1. Dr. S. Kamakshaiah, Professor & Head, EEE Department is guiding 3 staff members of EEE Department for their Ph.D. registered with JNTU, Hyderabad.
2. Dr. K.V. Chalapati Rao, Dean, is guiding 4 Students of Ph.D. who have registered with OU / JNTU, Hyderabad.
