Inauguration Ceremony

February 15th, 2003 was a big day for CVR College of Engineering. A Galaxy of noted-personalities including Hon'ble Chief Minister Sri. N. Chandrababu Naidu, AICTE Chairman Dr. R. Natarajan, Hon'ble Minister for Home Sri. T. Devender Goud, Hon'ble Minister for Technical Education Sri. Nerella Anjaneyulu visited CVR on the occasion of the College Main Building Inauguration.

President of the College Dr. Raghava Cherabuddi presented the welcome address, Dr. R. Natarajan and Hon'ble Chief Minister Sri. N. Chandrababu Naidu spoke on the occasion. Dr. Natarajan mentioned that very few institutions including the IITs and IIMs in the country have brand equity and recommended certain Engineering Colleges to become Institutions of Excellence. He conveyed his best wishes to CVR College of Engineering. The Hon'ble Chief Minister who spoke highly about CVR College mentioned the following:

• CVR is one of the best institutions that started recently and he was here to share the success with faculty, students and management of CVR.

• He hoped CVR will become one of the Institutions of Excellence as suggested by Dr. Natarajan and he wished CVR will be among the Top-25 institutions in the country

• He said he will come and visit CVR once again
